Coyote Rock, also known as the Savona Balancing Rock, is an intriguing geological formation located near Kamloops Lake in British Columbia. This impressive rock rests precariously on a clay hoodoo, a pillar formed by erosion processes that leave harder rock balanced on softer material. The balancing rock is situated on ranch land near the community of Savona, accessible via a trail just past a ...

Are Prisons Really Fixing Anything? Dive Into The Crisis Storm Ep 8
If you ARE SMOKING CANNABIS!!! use as needed! Do not over use. Higher Tolerance= less effective! Little goes a long way! Heavy smoking can cause CHS. Please look it up. It is unimaginable pain until you go to the hospital and you will need to go or it could last weeks and cause irreversible damage and in some cases death. Ive been through it so many times. Now im a light smoker and every time i smoke its effective. I don't need to redose ever 20 minutes. I'm a diabetic type 1 with nerve damage in my legs, crotch, and in and around my butt and its so painful. Gabapentin 300 mg does wonders. Sometimes i don't even need to smoke. Helps me sleep and get sleep cause nerve pain keeps me up exhausted.
I am intrigued!
I wonder how much of the common negative effects of cannabis, anxiety, lethargy, etc. are influenced by the stigma. When one drinks a glass of alcohol, there is not that back in the mind shame that your parents are going to yell at you for being an alcoholic slob who is going to ruin his own life. Yet, with cannabis it is almost inescapable unless one has really low levels of agreeableness. So many people think cannabis makes you lazy, dumb, destroys your mind, etc. So when you smoke cannabis, you know those people think that about you. When it is on a widespread social level, that becomes a significant sources of shame and anxiety, which then is amplified by the effects of cannabis.
Thanks
As a injured veteran with an amputated foot, portion of my buttocks removed and a leg that doesn't bend past 70° with permanent foot drop. I can honestly attest to the fact that cannabis has helped my pain, anxiety and has given me no noticeable side effects after 30 years of daily consumption. My advice for anyone looking for an alternative medicine is to try cannabis. If purchased at a legal licensed cannabis dispensary you'll be getting the freshest cannabis around, tested for contaminants and freshness with all the information of what your buying. I'd give that a try and maybe the combination of existing medication if the pain or injuries are severe and need a concoction of medicine to work effectively.
Way to go guys. It is a cute little production that tickles the troubled inter-play of our city council. As often happens you drew a certain amount of negative criticism, much of it due to a small but vocal core of "negative Nellies" and "anti-everythings" that Kamloops is known for. Their contention that everything should be addressed in a solemn and straight-laced manner is very annoying. That attitude belongs in a funeral home. The best way to approach political ineptness is with a generous application of good-natured humor. Sometimes it takes a few tries to perfect it, but I'm sure that Kam-El and his excellent supporting cast are very capable of the task. Keep up the good work!
You guys should make episode 2 talking about the mayor’s “resignation consideration” speech! I feel like that could be an interesting topic for Cam El to dive into…
11:51 is what happened to me with my doctors. I was born with NF1 and in 2007 I was prescribed gabapentin to deal with my peripheral neuropathy due to NF. In the beginning it seemed to work until I hit a plateau while on it. My doctor increased the dosage and it became worse in dealing with the side effects. I stopped taking it because I had thoughts of suic*de, severe depression and a host of other things. It's been 13 years since I stopped taking it and I am beyond glad I did.
Uncle Otto! 💗That is amazing!
Hammer Jackson is a used car salesman! Is that the best Kamloops can come up with? LOL
Well, that’s who the people of Kamloops voted in. Another question might be, if Kamloops was a used car could he sell it, or is it an obvious lemon?
Awesome Job Thank you when we shut down our 21 year old Retail Store WestCoast Hydroponics and we were grateful for what we learned from you while we were there. We moved to Portugal where Jose (husband) born my heart goes out to those there and love keeping in touch this was very well done!
This is amazing
Thank you.
Watch the reid supporters are gonna use this as "evidence" ... "oh but the talking camel said reid is good"
To Reid, the camel actually said, grow a thicker skin, and let’s see some accountability … amongst other things.
Nosso ano, our year, our time, our memories, our story💖💛
Meu amor arrasa❤
Wonderful interview! It was a good listen and great song as well.
I'm sorry, but that was painful to watch. That "turn left" bit went on for far too long, the camels voice is annoying AF, and whoever wrote the script is slightly uninformed about the Deputy Mayor of the month position. This video came across as yet another way for Hamer-Jackson to complain about how "unfair" everyone is being to him for not doing his job (good job calling him out for his lack of accountability!), and most of the complaining in this video was about how the rest of Council is responding to the Mayor's BS; the video could have been more balanced since the rest of City Council's actions didn't occur in a vacuum. The Mayor's surname was mispronounced every time as well which shows how shallow the research was on this topic (hay-mer, not hammer). The puppetry was good though, whichever producer had their hand up his backside portrayed emotions well. I hope the next episode is better!
You're right. It's not our best work. Hard to do great work with zero budget off the side of your desk. As far as the misinformation is concerned we find it hard to believe what anyone is saying in any of this. It's hard for us to tell who is telling the truth and like most of Kamloops we're tired and frustrated of it all. For this video we didn't make a claim of taking an unbiased journalistic approach. We claimed it was cynical and satirical entertainment. We know that not everyone will agree with our little rant and that's perfectly fine. If we were trying to be completely serious we wouldn't be using a talking camel puppet. The mayor's surname was pronounced incorrectly, on-purpose. Hence the picture of the hammer trying to hit a square peg in a round hole, but I guess not all jokes land as planned the first time around. Don't know at this point if we will do a next episode, we're just experimenting at this point.
Hi
Hello
Great Song! Great history! Great person! Bruno is amazing!
Wow good job Great Bruno
Great work Mastermind team! some feedback - Faster watch time. There were some long transitions. Your pupettry was amazing - especially how he fell backwards. And when his mouth was gaping open. Took me right back to the Muppet Show - You guys did your research on puppets and also the muppets in council. Fantastic.
Thank you. If we dare to make another episode we will keep your feedback top-of-mind.
@@themastermindstudio those who dare win ❤
This was produced by mastermind? Piss poor and boring to watch.. If this is the level of production, I don't have high hopes for them lasting..
Sorry you feel that way. I guess we cannot hope to please everyone but we'll take solace in the fact that we are here still after 15 years and continue to enjoy the encouragement and appreciation of many supporters in our community. You're right that it is not our best production but we took a risk and said something and dared to be different rather than just stay quiet in fear and not express what our conscience was telling us.
🥱
Sorry you feel that way.
@@themastermindstudio I’m sorry, the puppet was just kind of boring 😂 something a bit more wacky like Warmbo from Some More News would be more entertaining
Feel bad for our mayor. He's being bullied and systematically pushed out of office. Definition of toxic workplace. Sad
Thank you for your comment. Yes. We agree. The Kamloops political environment has become toxic and there is far too much gamesmanship taking place. We are disappointed and believe they are all guilty of wasting time and money.
👍👍👍
Thank you.
I agree this is disappointing. Not terribly funny, and not terribly informative. I'm not really sure what they were trying to achieve with this.
Sorry you feel that way. Admittedly we have not been known for producing comedy in the past and we definitely stepped outside of our comfort zone. We knew that we would not please everyone but we took a risk and said something, and dared to be different, rather than just stay quiet in fear and not express what our conscience was telling us. In short, we were trying to express that we feel that both the mayor and the city council are all culpable in the current tribulation and that it is becoming ridiculous.
Intriguing information... pathetic presentation... don't quit your day job.
This came across as more of an op-ed. Would really like a more balanced report. Some of the transitions were to long, for example 'turn left'. I appreciate your summary, and with more context and snappier transition it would work.
Thank you. If we dare to make another episode we will try and keep your input in mind. We value your comment.
@@themastermindstudio make another episode. Why wouldnt you... wtf are the mandarins and the council of morons going to do?
I am pretty disappointed that the mayor's actions weren't talked about as well. He's done enough that to make a nearly 10 minute long video, and not mention any of it, feels calculated. Production value is good though, would have been share worthy if both council and the Mayor were prodded at.
Thank you. Yes, we will admit that we were a little calculated. We feel that both the mayor and the city council are all culpable in the current tribulation and that it is becoming ridiculous and costly for Kamloops to continue these shenanigans. However, we also feel that the media has been far too lenient on the councilors' eager willingness to continue adding fuel to the fire. So, yes we started with council and spent more time there because of that. Perhaps we will be able to do better for you if there is a next time. Again, thank you for your feedback.
@themastermindstudio Thank you for replying and being honest. I hope you can see the irony in believing that the media is portraying a biased view of the situation and deciding that the best option is to portray a biased view of the situation. You, in essence, became what you were upset with. I also feel that to say you "started with" the council is misleading. There was no intention to continue as your comments show. This has potential, but if it is going to succeed, it must be unbiased and comedic above all else. (In my opinion.)
For this video we didn't make a claim of taking an unbiased journalistic approach. We claimed it was cynical and satirical entertainment. We know that not everyone will agree with our little rant and that's perfectly fine. If we were trying to be completely serious we wouldn't be using a talking camel puppet.
@themastermindstudio trust me, no one is assuming this is serious, or journalism.
Perfect!
Way to not provide any context about WHY the council has done what they have done. Sure sounds like you are trying to defend the mayor to me, but I would not expect much else from a company that worked with Jean-Claude Auger to make a video about what a nice drug dealer, er person, he was.
Sorry you feel this way. We feel that both the mayor and the city council are all to blame for the sorry state of affairs that the City finds itself in. We also feel that the councilors' are not being held accountable for the role they continue to play in escalating and making things worse. As for your comment about the work we did relating to Jean-Claude Auger in 2015. If you care to educate yourself, it was not about glorifying Jean-Claude Auger. Instead it was about collaborating with industry professionals (clinical councilors and corrections officers) with our own volunteer time to try and create meaningful reform through the development of an accredited curriculum for criminal reform as well as certified criminal reform coaching. Instead of criticizing we were trying to be active in making a difference to ensure that criminals are actually reformed before they are released. armchairmayor.ca/2014/09/03/convicted-offender-reveals-all-on-camera-prior-to-sentence/
Brilliant❣️
The lad who claimed that it turned him gay is full of it, turns out that he had already had an experience and fantasies prior to him starting Gabapentin. I remember seeing it on the news at the time, it wasn't taken at all seriously.
I used 600mgs Gabapentins to help morphine withdrawal, worked a treat too. I now don't use any pain meds at all and only use a very well known botanical essential oil that has worked better than any of the pain meds.
Gabapentin shouldn't be on the market. There's little to no symptom relief, and severe side effects, not to mention withdrawals. Cannabis is effective, safe, has few side effects, and no withdrawals. I'll stick with Cannabis for my neuralgia.
Gabapentin made suicidal 😢

Gabapentin was one of the drugs they trialed on me back in the late 90's 2k's. Out of 10 different anti-depressants/anti anxiety drugs they gave me from age 16. New style anti depressants. 5 of those got banned for causing severe depression and agoraphobia. My depression was caused by a tooth infection that spread to my jawbone. I'm 45 now and my life has passed away with me stuck indoors. I moved somewhere where cannabis is legal and that has at least allowed me to get out more, I can walk to a couple of the local shops without panic. At its height I was unable to leave my house without blacking out. 2years ago somebody showed me a newspaper from 20+years ago, there was a small 10 line apology from the manufacturer, along with a helpline phone number. Now part of the effects of the anxiety they gave me is I can't use the phone anymore... And agoraphobics.. How often do you think we get out to buy a newspaper. So it went from that to them trying to fix it with some tranquilizers, which I took one of and woke up in the middle of the city center with friends, not knowing how I got there, they said I'd been acting fine, super happy, but I had no recollection of any of it. Because of that they gave some form of anti psychotic, theyd give me some pills wait 3 months, ask me if I heard voices, "no" OK come back in 3 months... After a year of that with no changes I decided it wasn't a great idea to keep trusting them, especially as my psychiatrist who had gone to work up north, had just turned up on the game show survivor and gone loopy out warpaint on and got kicked off (guy who put me on the anti psychotics. Dr Richard, uk series of survivor). OK so yes now I know it was all caused by a tooth infection (doctors and dentists don't talk, doctors don't consider dentists as equals, all ego) so I never needed any of those drugs. Get yourself healthy first, you body's natural reaction to infection is to slow you down to stop it spreading, it makes you depressed. Secondly I've learned new meds have only undergone 6months testing in the usa, a further 9 months in the uk. Longterm testing happens over 30years, and that's uk only, fda don't bother as far as I know. Also I learned you brain chemistry is not set up fully until your aged 25-26, you should not alter its base levels before that age or they can become set permanently, it's how they're meant to work to set you up for your adult environment. Best not to alter them, especially if they side effects are not clear. I know how desperate it can be, I got extremely depressed and self harmed etc. Took me a while to realize it got a bit better once I had some dental done, it was correct, my jaw infection was near deadly, dentists didn't catch it for decades. Now they have mri\x-ray on site so they caught it. Just be weary, try not to eat crap and keep your health up. Get full health checks and blood tests if you feel the need. One step at a time. There are ways out I promise.
Land trusts a powerful, possible and attainable solution. Excellent episode, thank you!
It wouldn't hurt for Canadian and the United States to start back to regulating capitalism, it's unffettered beyond the wellbeing of our societys.
While I'm not confident that "regulating capitalism" is the answer, I will say that I value your comments and appreciate your participation. I feel that it's only through respectful and meaningful dialogue and discussion, where we are willing to listen and consider the other person's point of view, that we are able to truly find the answers we seek. I will spend some time contemplating and thinking about your comment surrounding "regulations". Thank you for being part of the discussion and solution.
Capital gains exemptions to donors to community land trusts a simple policy change that would change the game. Over night solution.
Solutions should never be partisan.
We have to go beyond affordable housing. To end the homeless, drug addiction, other mental, educational, an income in-between, and job location there needs to be a system that encompasses it all. There is the issue of private equity in residential housing that needs to be shutdown, and those properties bought wholesale by the government and put back on the market at affordable prices. This isn't a comment strictly associated to Canada, but also the United States.
